Role Description The CNC Operator cum Programmer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include creating and optimizing CNC programs, selecting appropriate tools and fixtures, performing machine adjustments, and ensuring efficient machining processes. The position also requires performing in-process inspections, maintaining quality standards, and documenting production data. The CNC Operator cum Programmer will collaborate with production and maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues, ensure safe machine operation, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

  • Strong machine operation skills, including experience with CNC machinery and general machinery handling.
  • Proficiency in machining and milling processes, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • Experience in quality control practices, including dimensional inspection, use of measuring instruments, and adherence to manufacturing standards.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming principles, tool selection, and process optimization for production efficiency and accuracy.
  • Relevant technical qualification or diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Prior experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably within drilling, production, or heavy engineering sectors, is an advantage.
