Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger entries, and preparation of financial statements. Daily tasks include handling accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring accurate recording of manufacturing costs and inventory-related transactions. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, supporting internal and external audits, preparing tax-related documentation, and maintaining compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. Collaboration with production, procurement, and management teams is required to provide financial insights for operational decisions. This is a full-time, on-site role based at the company’s facility in Rajkot.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in accounting principles, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and cost accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar), along with advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and audit processes applicable to Indian manufacturing and export businesses.
  • Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to maintain organized financial records under deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, procurement, and management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience as an accountant in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial setup is preferred.
