Position Summary
We are?seeking?a reliable and motivated High-Volume Prep Cook to support our fast-paced kitchen operations. This role is essential for preparing ingredients,?maintaining?organized workstations, and ensuring?timely?delivery of high-quality food for large-scale service. The ideal candidate thrives in a busy environment, works efficiently, and takes pride in consistency and cleanliness.?
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and measuring, according to recipes and specifications?
- Assist?in cooking and assembling menu items under the direction of chefs and line cooks?
- Portion, label, and store prepped food items properly in coolers, freezers, and storage areas?
- Maintain clean and organized workstations, including utensils, equipment, and prep areas?
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards?at all times?
- Rotate stock to ensure freshness and reduce waste?
- Assist?with unloading deliveries and stocking inventory when needed?
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure efficient service during high-volume periods?

- Previous?experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred (restaurants, catering, or banquet service)?
- Knowledge of food safety and proper handling techniques?
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately?
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment?
- Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods?
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Stand, bend, reach, and move quickly in a busy kitchen
- Work in varying kitchen temperatures, including hot cooking lines and cold storage areas
