Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient Cloud Support Engineer with a strong focus on AWS to join Avendus team at our office in BKC. You will be working in a team and will be point of contact for managing cloud infrastructure, resolving technical bottlenecks, and ensuring the high availability of cloud-based services.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Management: Deploy, manage, and maintain AWS cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Incident Response: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and IAM. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for service interruptions.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Utilize AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools to track system health. Identify cost-saving opportunities through resource optimization.
- Automation: Develop scripts (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and manage security groups, NACLs, and encryption to ensure data protection and compliance with client policies, resolving findings from CNAPP tool
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Support or System Administration.
- Core AWS Services: Deep understanding of EC2, S3, Route53, VPC, Lambda, and CloudFormation/Terraform etc.
- Networking: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, and Load Balancing (ALB/NLB).
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu/Amazon Linux) and Windows Server administration.
- Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS) is a significant plus.
- Certifications: AWS any certification is preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
