About The Role

We're looking for a Cloud Engineer who wants to work in a disruptive, fast-growing and exciting environment. As part of the Infrastructure team, this role will bring you great opportunities to work on various projects, technologies, with a diverse range of teams.

You will be part of a global team responsible of:

• maintaining Thunes cloud infrastructure highly available, provisioning cloud and servers via infrastructure automation tools
• keeping Thunes cloud infrastructure secure and up to date, running vulnerability scanning, applying patches, and configuration best practices
• ensuring the platform growth and scalability, designing highly available and secure architectures, and continuity plans
• answering to alerts and incidents related to the availability or security of the platform, helping different departments to troubleshoot issues
• setting up connectivity between Thunes and its partners, increasing Thunes network
  
  
  

The ideal candidate should be able to take initiatives, have strong troubleshooting skills, a problem solving and security-oriented mindset.

What We’re Looking For

For this position, it is required to have experience with:

• Secure, highly available, large-scale web application architecture
• Cloud environments (AWS is a plus),
• Linux (RHEL based is a plus) and Windows operating systems
• SQL databases (Postgres is a plus)
• Infrastructure automation (Ansible and Terraform are a plus) and version control systems (Git is a plus)
• Monitoring tools (Nagios and Prometheus are a plus)
• Container orchestration tools (Kubernetes is a plus)
• The following protocols: IP, TCP/UDP, IPSec, TLS, HTTP, SMTP, DNS, SSH/SFTP
