Job Description
Job Purpose:
The job purpose of an infrastructure auditor is to assess and evaluate an organization's infrastructure to ensure it meets established standards, complies with relevant regulations, and operates efficiently and securely. Infrastructure auditors play a crucial role in identifying potential weaknesses, risks, and areas of improvement within the organization's infrastructure and related processes. Their primary objective is to help maintain a stable and reliable infrastructure that supports the organization's operations effectively
Key Job Responsibilities
- Willing to travel PAN India as and when required for carrying out actual inspection of the work order executed / procurement made is in accordance with the standard guidelines as per company policy.
- Review of all governance document Infra related (Process/SOP/Policy).
- Conduct Audits: Perform comprehensive audits of the organization's infrastructure, including physical facilities, signages, UPS, network systems, servers, databases, applications, and other IT / Non IT assets and identify the revenue leakages if any with respect to same
- Security Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of security controls (CCTV, Alarm systems etc), identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and strengthen security posture.
- Compliance Review: Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and policies by assessing the infrastructure against relevant requirements.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks associated with the infrastructure, such as hardware failures, data breaches, system downtime, and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Process Evaluation: Review operational processes, change management procedures, incident response protocols, and disaster recovery plans to identify areas for improvement and ensure resilience.
- Documentation and Reporting: Document audit findings, prepare detailed reports summarizing observations, vulnerabilities, and recommendations for remediation, and present them to relevant stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with Infra Teams, Procurement teams, IT teams, security professionals, and other relevant stakeholders to address identified issues, implement necessary changes, and ensure compliance.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest trends, standards, and regulations related to infrastructure security and auditing to provide effective guidance and recommendations.
- Specific Infrastructure audit such as Auditing of Strong Room construction (whether same is as per Spec specified), Auditing of civil works including painting, flooring, plumbing as per work orders, Auditing of Interior works as per work orders, Auditing of electrical and structured cabling and other miscellaneous works as per work orders, Auditing of additional works undertaken as per specific site conditions over and above work order issued initially, Ensuring usage of quality of materials as per the set standard mentioned in Work Order, Auditing the Joint Measurement sheets submitted by Site Engineer and Vendor, Auditing of renovation works and repair works vis a vis the respective work orders covering civil, interiors, electrical, structured cabling and other miscellaneous works, Surprise Audit as per directions
- Rate analysis of interior fit outs, civil works, electrical, data & voice, HVAC – Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning System etc
- Maintenance knowledge of interior fit outs, civil works, electrical, data & voice, HVAC – Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning System etc
- Review of AMC agreements / Rate Contracts / other agreements, its contractual terms and conditions (IT & Non IT)
- Strong knowledge about the specifications of the relevant work as per Indian Standards (IS – Code) and Delhi Analysis of Rates - CPWD.
- Final bills (IT / Non IT) verification of vendors, correlation with the actual quantity and quality etc
- Vendor billing and Cost Validation.
- Budget and Cost control monitoring.
- Identify potential process lapses, financial irregularities, or control weaknesses in infrastructure projects. Highlight fraud risks such as inflated billing, ghost work, or unauthorized procurement. Provide recommendations to strengthen procurement and infrastructure governance.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
1. Minimum experience of 3 years in infrastructure auditing.
2. Comprehensive knowledge of infrastructure components civil engineering principles, structural analysis, and design standards.
3. Understanding of quality control and assurance process.
4. Familiarity with legal and contractual aspects related to infrastructure projects including contract administration and dispute resolution.
5. A commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in civil engineering, auditing techniques and industry trends.

1. Analytical skill to interpret and evaluate data collected during inspections and audit.
2. Proficiency in using various inspection and auditing tools.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills for all levels.

BE/ B. tech - Civil Engineer with Interior experience
Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Estimation and Quantity Survey
Knowledge of MEP work
CIA (preferred)/ Good understanding P2P process
Experience
3 years’ experience in infrastructure auding
