This role will be performed on site in Huntsville, AL, with hybrid work option

Summit TRC is seeking to add a Cloud DevOps Engineer to our team. This engineer will play a vital role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing cloud based infrastructure. If you have relevant experience and you are motivated to solve complex problems in Defense, please apply.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Develop, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines
• Administer and support cloud environments on Azure and/or AWS
• Perform Linux and Windows system admin tasks
• Apply DISA STIGs where necessary
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure
• Support Kubernetes deployments and administration
• Implement and manage cloud networking solutions
• Implement best practices in cloud architecture, automation, and security
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience working with cloud technologies, including Azure and AWS
• 2+ years experience with Terraform
• 1+ years experience with Azure DevOps or GitLab
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Ansible, and PowerShell
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance in cloud environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Sec+ certification or Cloud certifications (Ex. AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Admin) are a plus
