Clearance & Settlement-Immediate joiners only -6 Months+ Experience

We are hiring for one of our clients based in Gurgaon for the role of Clearance & Settlements (Backend Operations).

🔹 Role Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end trade settlement operations, including trade confirmation, matching, reconciliation, and reporting
• Manage domestic and cross-border settlements across multiple markets
• Coordinate with trading desks, brokers, custodians, and middle office teams to resolve settlement discrepancies
• Work on AP (Against Payment) / FOP (Free of Payment) instructions
• Monitor Nostro accounts to ensure sufficient funding for settlement obligations
• Identify, analyze, and resolve unsettled and mismatch trades within defined TAT
• Ensure settlement activities comply with regulatory and operational guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk

🔹 Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in Clearance & Settlements / Trade Operations / Middle Office
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle (confirmation, matching, settlement)
• Hands-on experience in reconciliation and exception handling
• Exposure to SWIFT messaging and global custodians (Euroclear / Clearstream preferred)
• Knowledge of T+1 / T+2 settlement cycles
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and meet strict deadlines
