Role And Responsibilities

  • Handle the Store Department at the construction site, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Establish and implement handling systems for SAP and ERP movement of materials.
  • Prepare stock registers and provide daily, weekly, and monthly management information system (MIS) reports to the Head Office (HO) and Project Head.
  • Follow up with the purchase department for material indent and maintain tracking records of indents.
  • Monitor material stock and consumption on a daily basis.
  • Prepare statements and submit them to the HO in a timely manner.
  • Create debit notes for sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Certify material purchase bills.
  • Ensure proper inventory control of the store using ERP software and generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock statements.
  • Establish and implement procedures for receiving, identifying, and accounting for incoming materials.
  • Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date records for physical storage and accounts.
  • Coordinate with other departments within the company and external agencies.
  • Take necessary steps for replenishing stock.
  • Arrange required packing materials.
  • Responsible for inventory control.
  • Reconcile third party accounts related to job work.
  • Monitor receipts and issues in the store department, verify purchase bills, and keep management informed about the store's situation.
  • Maintain and file records.
  • Prepare planning sheets and challans for internal materials transfer.
  • Prepare asset challans and coding for new asset materials.
  • Ensure proper quality and quantity check of new materials.
  • Manage transportation logistic activities.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the entire store.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in store management in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and ERP software.
