Civil AutoCAD Drafter

Role Description The Civil AutoCAD Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in Dehradun. The position involves preparing and revising civil and architectural drawings using AutoCAD, including plans, sections, elevations, and detailed layouts for a range of projects. Daily tasks include developing shop drawings, coordinating with engineers and architects to clarify design requirements, and ensuring drawings meet project specifications and local standards. The drafter will organize and maintain drawing files, implement redline corrections, and support the project team with accurate documentation throughout the design and construction phases. Collaboration, clear communication, and consistent adherence to drafting standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Drawing and general Drawing for civil and architectural projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Drawings, with the ability to create detailed, construction-ready documentation.
• Candidates should possess skills in Architectural Drawings and a sound understanding of Architecture fundamentals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (and similar CAD software), including layering, dimensioning, and drawing management.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans, codes, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in drafting, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
