What we are looking for
Role: Cisco Voice Engineer
Experience Range: 4 to 12 Years
Location: Noida
IInterview Date: 16th May 26 (09:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
Interview Venue: Tcs Yamuna Office at Noida Sector 135, Noida, Delhi.
Must Have:
1. Strong expertise in Voice architecture, network design and operations for large-scale call center environments.
2. In-depth knowledge of: VoIP technologies, SIP protocol, Call routing and dial plan design.
3. Strong hands-on experience with: Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Voice Gateways, Genesys Contact center.
4. Configure and maintain VoIP systems, SIP trunks, and dial plans.
5. Experience with Session Border Controllers (SBC): Oracle SBC, AudioCodes SBC.
6. Experience working with telecom carriers for issue resolution.
7. Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
8. Knowledge of monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., RTMT, Grafana, EOM, Wireshark, Thousand-eyes)
9. Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
10. Proven troubleshooting skills for: Call routing failures, Voice quality issues, SIP signaling and media-related problems.
Good to Have:
1. Experience with cloud-based voice solutions (e.g., Webex Calling, Microsoft Teams Voice)
2. Knowledge of voice security concepts (TLS, SRTP, SBC security policies)
3. Understanding of network QoS design and implementation for voice traffic.
4. Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
5. Continuous learning attitude with focus on upskilling
6. Attention to detail in configuration and troubleshooting.
7. Experience working closely with cloud architects, security teams, and application teams.
8. Strong understanding of cloud networking performance, latency, and resiliency considerations.
9. Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP Collaboration or equivalent)
10. Exposure to ITIL-based support processes.
Essential:
- Own and manage day-to-day operations of enterprise voice infrastructure ensuring high availability and reliability
- Provide L2/L3 support for voice and VoIP-related incidents, including rapid resolution of critical outages.
- Troubleshoot complex call routing issues involving SIP signaling, dial plans, and SBC configurations.
- Perform configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of CUCM, Unity, Cisco gateways, Oracle SBC, and AudioCodes platforms
- Act as a primary point of contact for escalations related to voice services and ensure timely resolution within SLAs
- Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting knowledge base
- Support 24x7 operations through on-call rotations and ensure minimal service disruption
- Train and mentor team members, contributing to team capability building and knowledge sharing
- Demonstrate flexibility to learn and support additional technologies/products within the operations center
Minimum Qualification:
- 15 years of full-time education
- Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
