About the Company

One of our US-based clients is hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with over 10 years of experience in software engineering and 5+ years of proven experience leading and managing technical teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the organization’s technology strategy, overseeing product development, and ensuring scalable and high-quality engineering practices across teams. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on technical expertise are essential for this role.


Required Criteria: Candidates should have strong experience working with a US-based company.


Technical Strategy & Roadmap

  • Define and execute the long-term technology vision aligned with business and product goals.
  • Evaluate and modernize architecture for scalability, performance, and security.
  • Partner with product and leadership teams to translate business priorities into actionable technical plans.

Engineering Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization in Bangalore.
  • Establish best practices in software design, development lifecycle, testing, and deployment.
  • Drive accountability, quality, and continuous improvement across teams.


Responsibilities

Cross-Border Collaboration

  • Work closely with US-based leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Act as the primary technology liaison for executive discussions and strategic planning.
  • Support client-facing technical conversations when required.


Delivery & Operations

  • Oversee development timelines, release management, and platform reliability.
  • Implement scalable processes that improve predictability and velocity.
  • Ensure strong data security, compliance, and operational resilience.


Talent & Culture

  • Recruit and develop engineering leaders and high-impact contributors.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, transparency, and innovation.
  • Build succession and capability within the technical organization.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in senior technical leadership.
  • Proven success leading distributed or global engineering teams.
  • Strong architectural expertise in modern SaaS platforms, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience managing mature products while driving modernization and growth.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders.


Required Skills

  • Experience in HR tech, wellness platforms, or B2B SaaS environments.
  • Exposure to US-based organizations or cross-time-zone collaboration.
  • Track record of scaling engineering processes in growth-stage companies.
