Role Description The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Prowess Consultancy will provide clinical leadership and strategic guidance for healthcare-related consulting projects and client engagements. This full-time, on-site role based in Salem involves overseeing clinical governance frameworks, advising on medical standards and protocols, and ensuring regulatory and ethical compliance for healthcare clients. The CMO will collaborate with HR strategists, operations consultants, and client leadership teams to design and implement clinically sound care delivery models, workforce structures, and performance metrics. Daily responsibilities include reviewing clinical programs and workflows, interpreting healthcare regulations, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and contributing expert input to proposals, reports, and client presentations. The CMO will also mentor internal teams on healthcare trends, support training programs for client staff, and represent the medical perspective in strategic decisions that impact patient safety and service quality.

Qualifications
- Advanced clinical expertise and leadership in healthcare, including experience setting clinical standards, overseeing quality of care, and guiding multidisciplinary medical teams.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, and ethical frameworks, with the ability to translate these into practical policies and governance structures for clients.
- Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, healthcare operations, and change management, preferably with experience in consulting, health systems management, or organizational transformation.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making, including interpretation of clinical outcomes, quality metrics, and operational performance indicators to inform recommendations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with executives, clinicians, HR leaders, and external partners.
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with valid licensure, and substantial post-qualification experience in a leadership or director-level role; additional training in healthcare management, public health, or administration is an advantage.
- Experience working with or within HR, employer branding, or talent-focused environments in healthcare is beneficial, as is familiarity with digital health, telemedicine, or technology-enabled care models.
