Key Responsibilities & Knowledge Attributes

• To serve as the physician responsible for the overall care and clinical practice carried out at the facility.

• To apply clinical and administrative skills to guide the facility in providing care.

• To helps the facility, develop and manage both quality and safety initiatives, including risk management

• To provide information that helps others (including facility staff, practitioners, and those in the community) understand and provide care.

• To ensure administrative decision making and recommends and approves policies and procedures

• To ensure the process to ensure the appropriateness and quality of medical care and medically related care.

• To ensure the surveillance and promotion in the health safety, and welfare of employees.

• To ensure the development and conduct of educational programs.

• To articulate the long-term care facility’s mission to the community.

• To ensure the establishment of policies and procedures for assuring that the rights of individuals (resident, staff members, and community members) are respected.

• To acquires, maintains, and applies knowledge of social, regulatory, political, and economic factors that relate to patient care services.

• Awareness in QMS & Quality framework.

• To maintain good health of all employees

• Maintain, analyze all PME reports.

• Manage deployment of different OHC personnel

• Maintenance of all OHC equipment

Certification requirement:

• Mandatory AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) recognized by DGFASLI/DGOSH, Minimum of 10 years of post-AFIH certification experience in Occupational Health/Industrial Health practice.
