Cheif Executive Officer - FMCG Distribution

About the Role

GSY International Group is looking for a strategic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization into the future. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership abilities, a strong business acumen, and a passion for driving growth and innovation.

The CEO will provide executive leadership across all divisions, ensuring strong financial performance, operational excellence, and sustainable long-term growth. The role requires a dynamic leader with proven experience in FMCG food industry, Trade, Supply chain/Procurement and expansion of business.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership:

• Develop and execute the company’s long-term strategic vision FMCG networks.
• Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures for sustainable growth locally and globally.
• Lead and execute team, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and capital allocation.
• Establish policies that promote company business needs.
• Oversee the long-term vision and growth strategies of products and services as well as supporting and leading the greater operations daily.

Operations:

• Evaluate sales performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics.
• Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally and finds ways to improve processes by using best in practice methodology to expand business.

Finance and Budgeting:

• Managing the operational budget.
• Full Profit & Loss accountability, whilst continuing to build the network to support expansion and enhance customer engagement.
• You will provide excellent Operational Leadership and Management to ensure accurate operational controls, measurement and reporting systems to support a safe, effective and reliable sales operation.
• Identify business opportunities within local networks for sales and FMCG expansion.

Import & Export Operations

• Develop sourcing partnerships with global suppliers
• Build export markets for Indian and regional products.
• Manage international trade operations including logistics and compliance.

Market Expansion

• Identify new product opportunities in FMCG and food categories
• Expand distribution into new regions and market segment.
• Build partnerships with regional distributors and trading partners

Supply Chain & Operations

• Manage warehouse, logistics, and inventory systems
• Implement efficient supply chain and delivery processes
• Ensure product availability and operational efficiency

Qualifications and Experience :

• 12–15 years of experience in FMCG distribution or international trading
• Strong knowledge of Indian FMCG market
• Experience in import/export operations and global trade
• Proven leadership experience in expanding distribution businesses
• Experience managing large sales and operations teams

Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience at a senior management level within the industry preferably in FMCG, Import Export and FNB in Tamil Nadu, India.
• Understanding of business functions such as Sales, Operations, HR, Finance, marketing etc.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, Exceptional Oral and Written Communication Skills.
