Chauffeur

Role Description This on-site Chauffeur role is based in Abidjan. The Chauffeur will transport passengers and, when required, goods safely and punctually to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Responsibilities include performing basic vehicle inspections before and after each trip, monitoring fuel levels, reporting maintenance needs, and ensuring the vehicle is clean and presentable at all times. The role involves providing courteous, professional assistance to passengers, handling luggage, and maintaining discretion and confidentiality. The Chauffeur will also comply with local traffic regulations, complete basic trip records, and coordinate with supervisors or operations staff regarding daily assignments and route changes.
Qualifications

• Experience operating vehicles such as cars, vans, or light trucks, with a strong focus on safe and responsible driving.
• Knowledge of transportation procedures and local routes, with the ability to plan efficient trips and adjust to traffic or weather conditions.
• Customer service skills to interact politely and professionally with passengers, respond to inquiries, and support a positive rider experience.
• Familiarity with transportation or truckload shipping operations and basic operations management principles is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and strong understanding of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Good physical condition to assist with luggage and perform routine vehicle checks.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
