We are seeking an exceptional Category Growth Manager to join India Global Selling (INGS). INGS empowers individuals and businesses to expand their reach to customers worldwide. Since inception, Amazon India has enabled over $20B in global exports, helping businesses, exporters, D2C brands, and entrepreneurs scale their products to international markets.

We are looking for a self-driven, seasoned individual to join our team. In this role, you will build comprehensive category insights, develop data-driven selection strategies, support cross-functional teams with deep-dive analysis, and significantly enhance category performance through advanced Excel-based analytics and reporting.

Key job responsibilities

  • Build comprehensive category insights through advanced data analysis using available tools and systems to identify growth opportunities and performance trends
  • Develop data-driven selection strategies to support business teams through insights on customer demand patterns, launch performance metrics, selection launches, category trends and business data to guide what products to launch and prioritize
  • Support business teams with deep-dive analytical requests, providing detailed insights on category performance
  • Create and maintain sophisticated analytical dashboards, reports to track category KPIs and business metrics
  • Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights through advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, data modeling, and visualization techniques
  • Collaborate with business team, marketing, and other regions to enhance quality of inputs

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of sales experience
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Experience closing sales and generating revenue
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in category management, account management, or related business roles with proven track record of building insights-driven recommendations
  • 7+ years of advanced Excel experience including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, macros, and dashboard creation
  • Experience building comprehensive data analysis, selection strategies, and supporting business teams with analytical deep-dives using available tools
  • Strong ability to communicate complex insights effectively and influence business leaders through compelling data storytelling and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in e-commerce category management, account management, or business operations with focus on data-driven decision making
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced Excel modeling, data analysis techniques, and working with large-scale business datasets
