Role Description The Call Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh, India. The Call Agent will handle high-volume outbound and inbound calls to voters, gather feedback and sentiment, and accurately record responses in internal systems. Daily tasks include following structured scripts, clarifying information, addressing basic queries, and escalating complex issues to senior team members when needed. The Call Agent will work closely with campaign teams to support data collection, assist in real-time updates for the War Room, and contribute to the overall communication strategy. The role also involves meeting call targets, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to organizational guidelines and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong verbal communication skills, active listening abilities, and clear articulation in English, Hindi, and local languages as applicable.
  • Candidates should possess basic data entry and computer literacy skills, including familiarity with call center software, spreadsheets, and CRM or database tools.
  • Candidates should possess customer service and interpersonal skills, including patience, empathy, and the ability to handle objections and sensitive conversations professionally.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage high call volumes, follow scripts, and meet daily performance targets.
  • Candidates should possess attention to detail and accuracy in recording voter responses, maintaining records, and complying with data protection and confidentiality requirements.
  • Prior experience in call centers, telemarketing, political campaigns, or survey-based roles is beneficial.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in any field is an advantage.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during peak campaign periods.
