General Information

  • Job Title: CAD Engineer – Civil and Structural
  • Reports to: DGM – Design and Engineering

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Single point responsibility for Ground / roof mounted solar systems by doing basic system design, arriving at layouts, bill of material and SLDs as a part of submission to customer in coordination with Business development / Engineering / project teams.
  • Creating Accurate CAD drawings from available input data and updating project drawing list.
  • Systematic saving of CAD drawings, keeping server organized and updating projects folders with revisions.
  • Seeking clarity from engineers and project managers when you are not 100% certain on data provided.
  • Reviewing and checking drawings for errors, before being sent to any internal or external customers.
  • Responsible for on time preparation of necessary drawings for bids and projects.

Understanding Civil & Structural design requirement of the project and provide necessary drawings support to the

Engineering team

Key Accountabilities

Expertise in latest version AutoCAD & MS office package

Expertise in running Google Sketchup

Excellent communication skills – written and spoken – English and Hindi
