Role & Responsibilities
A fast-scaling apparel & lifestyle sourcing agency operating across India, we partner with global brands to manage end-to-end product development, quality compliance, and vendor coordination. Our merchandisers act as the critical bridge between international buyers and on-ground suppliers — ensuring timelines, cost targets, and quality standards are met with precision. We’re building a team of highly agile, detail-oriented professionals who thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end merchandise lifecycle for assigned categories—from tech pack validation to bulk shipment clearance.
- Coordinate with domestic manufacturers on sampling, bulk production, QA checks, and delivery schedules to meet buyer deadlines.
- Prepare and submit detailed cost sheets, production timelines, and vendor performance summaries to global clients.
- Conduct factory audits, track compliance with buyer-specific quality standards (AQL, garment specifications, etc.), and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Attend buyer meetings (virtual/in-person), present progress reports, and negotiate timelines or price adjustments when needed.
- Maintain digital trackers for PO status, fabric/trim sourcing, and shipment documentation to ensure seamless handoffs.
- Must-Have
- Experience with garment tech packs, costing, and production planning
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards)
- Knowledge of AQL sampling, garment quality control processes
- Familiarity with sourcing workflows in India (Tirupur, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru clusters preferred)
- Strong understanding of fabric types, trims, and garment construction
- Ability to work with global time zones and manage vendor communication effectively
- Preferred
- Experience with PLM tools (like Centric, Optitex) or ERP systems
- Exposure to fast fashion or premium lifestyle brand sourcing
- Background in textiles or fashion design (degree or certification)
- 2-year bond mandatory — compensated with accelerated career progression and skill certification support.
- Direct exposure to global buyers and international merchandising standards.
