We are seeking an experienced Business Process Manager to lead process improvement, standardization, automation, and governance initiatives across the Finance & Accounting (F&A) function. The role will be responsible for analyzing end-to-end financial processes, identifying operational efficiencies, driving transformation projects, ensuring compliance, and partnering with stakeholders to optimize service delivery and business performance.

The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of finance operations, process excellence methodologies, digital transformation, and continuous improvement frameworks.


Process Management & Optimization

  • Analyze, document, and optimize end-to-end F&A processes including:
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Fixed Assets
  • Record-to-Report (R2R)
  • Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
  • Order-to-Cash (O2C)
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and best practices.

Transformation & Automation

  • Lead digital transformation projects focused on process automation and optimization.
  • Partner with technology teams to implement ERP and automation solutions.
  • Support deployment of RPA, AI, workflow automation, and analytics tools.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies that improve finance operations and controls.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support audit readiness and risk management initiatives.
  • Establish process governance models and performance review mechanisms.
  • Monitor compliance with SOX, IFRS, GAAP, and company policies where applicable.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with Finance leadership, Shared Services, Global Process Owners, and business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and drive process redesign.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management.

Performance & Reporting

  • Define, monitor, and report key process KPIs and SLAs.
  • Prepare dashboards and business insights for leadership.
  • Track benefits realization from transformation and improvement initiatives.

Change Management

  • Lead organizational change management activities related to process improvements.
  • Develop training materials and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Drive adoption of new processes, systems, and controls.


Required Qualifications


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
  • MBA, CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

Experience

  • 7–14+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting operations, process management, transformation, or shared services.
  • Experience in process improvement and business transformation initiatives.
  • Hands-on exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of F&A processes (P2P, O2C, R2R).
  • Business Process Management (BPM) methodologies.
  • Process mapping tools (Visio, Signavio, ARIS, Lucidchart).
  • Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Power Automate.

Preferred Skills

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, Agile).
  • Experience in Shared Services or Global Capability Centers (GCC).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive change.
