Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and building a strong pipeline across Sylvorn Labs’ target markets. The specialist will conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and prepare insights to guide outreach strategies and solution positioning. Daily responsibilities include engaging prospective and existing clients, presenting service offerings, coordinating product demos with the technical team, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. The role also includes supporting proposal development, following up on inquiries, collaborating with marketing and delivery teams, and ensuring a professional, customer-focused experience throughout the sales cycle.
Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret market data, assess business opportunities, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent Communication capabilities, including clear verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven experience in Lead Generation, pipeline building, and prospect qualification in B2B or technology services environments.
  • Competence in Market Research, including identifying target segments, understanding industry trends, and mapping competitive landscapes.
  • Customer Service skills focused on relationship building, professional client interactions, and responsiveness to inquiries and feedback.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, sales processes, and basic sales metrics; ability to maintain accurate records and follow structured workflows.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working with software and digital solutions; prior experience in IT services or SaaS is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an office environment.
