Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive MW-scale solar sales across Utility, C&I, and Rooftop segments. The role involves identifying large-scale project opportunities, managing key accounts, and leading a high-performing team to achieve aggressive growth targets.


Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Drive state-wise MW sales targets across Utility, C&I, and Rooftop segments
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar sector
  • Build strong relationships with EPC companies, solar park developers, and institutional clients
  • Lead the complete sales cycle for projects ranging from 1 MW to 100+ MW
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies

2. Key Account Management

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key EPC and corporate clients
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract finalization, and pricing discussions
  • Finalize annual rate contracts (ARC) with strategic clients
  • Ensure order closure with strong payment security terms
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and repeat business

3. Team Management

  • Lead, guide, and motivate the business development team
  • Monitor monthly sales targets, pipeline, and forecasting
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback


Key Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business / Renewable Energy (MBA preferred)
  • Experience: 8–10 years in solar/renewable energy sales (preferably in MW-scale projects)
  • Strong network with EPC companies, developers, and institutional buyers
  • Proven track record of closing large-scale solar deals
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
