Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager – Office Market to independently drive corporate client acquisition and revenue growth within the commercial office leasing segment.
This is a pure individual contributor role with ownership of business development, client engagement, and deal closure—without people management responsibilities.
The role is suited for seasoned professionals who can operate autonomously, engage senior decision-makers, and manage complex office leasing transactions from origination to closure while collaborating closely with internal advisory and execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end business development for corporate office leasing and occupier advisory
- Independently identify, engage, and convert corporate occupier opportunities
- Build and maintain senior relationships with CXOs, Founders, Real Estate Heads, Admin, HR, and Procurement stakeholders
- Engage, nurture, and convert both self-generated prospects and company-provided leads into customers
- Lead detailed requirement discovery covering business plans, timelines, budgets, and decision structures
- Advise clients on office location strategy, rentals, availability, and commercial structuring
- Drive mandate conversion and manage transactions through negotiation and closure
- Lead client meetings, presentations, site visits, and commercial discussions
- Coordinate closely with internal leasing advisory and design & build teams
- Cross-sell advisory, interior design & build, and construction services where relevant
- Maintain accurate CRM data on pipeline, deal stages, and revenue forecasts
- Track office market movement including rentals, incentives, availability, and occupier trends
- Stay accountable for deal momentum, closure timelines, and revenue outcomes
Who Should Apply
- Professionals with 6–12 years of experience in real estate, office leasing, or B2B enterprise sales
- Strong track record of independent deal sourcing and closure
- Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships without team oversight
- Self-driven individuals with strong commercial acumen and ownership mindset
- Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor in a performance-led environment
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Deep understanding of commercial office leasing and transaction dynamics
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems
- High level of planning, follow-through, and client management discipline
- Detail-oriented with strong financial and commercial awareness
