Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth across B2B and B2C markets, manage a team of sales executives, and develop innovative strategies to increase revenue and market presence.
- Develop and execute business strategies for both B2B (Business-to-Business) and B2C (Business-to-Consumer) segments
- Identify new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research
- Manage and lead a team of Sales Executives, ensuring target achievement and performance improvement
- Drive revenue growth by acquiring new clients and expanding existing accounts
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals
- Monitor team performance, provide training, motivation, and guidance
- Implement creative sales and marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and lead conversion
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and finalize contracts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term business
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, technical) for smooth execution
- Track sales performance, maintain MIS reports, and update CRM systems
- Handle both residential (B2C) and commercial/industrial (B2B) solar clients
- Generate leads and convert them into solar projects
- Explain ROI, cost savings, and subsidy benefits to customers
- Conduct site visits and coordinate with technical/installation teams
- Ensure timely project closure and customer satisfaction
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Strategic thinking with a focus on business growth
- Creative approach to sales and marketing
- Target-driven and result-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of CRM tools and MS Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech Electrical or BBA/MBA in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 4+year in Business Development / Sales
- Experience in handling B2B & B2C sales
- Prior experience in team handling is preferred
- Field work & travel may be required
