Role Description The Business Development Manager will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, driving growth across investment casting and fire safety product lines. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with industrial clients, and managing the sales pipeline from prospecting to closure. The Business Development Manager will conduct market research, prepare and deliver product presentations, negotiate contracts, and coordinate with internal teams for pricing, production, and delivery planning. Daily activities include meeting potential and existing customers, tracking performance metrics, preparing sales forecasts, and providing feedback to management on market trends and customer needs. The role also requires collaboration with engineering and operations teams to align customer requirements with technical capabilities and ensure excellent post-sale support.
Qualifications
  • Business development and sales skills, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and deal negotiation.
  • Client relationship management and communication skills to build long-term partnerships with industrial and corporate customers.
  • Market research and analytical skills to assess industry trends, competitor activity, and new segment opportunities.
  • Planning and organizational skills to manage pipelines, prepare sales forecasts, and meet revenue targets.
  • Experience or strong interest in manufacturing, investment casting, industrial equipment, or fire safety solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, productivity software, and reporting dashboards.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel for client meetings, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
