Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Rajkot. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding the client base, and strengthening relationships with existing industrial and OEM customers. Daily activities include market research, lead generation, client visits, product presentations, and negotiation of contracts and pricing in line with company policies. The role will involve close collaboration with the sales, technical, and operations teams to ensure accurate proposals, timely delivery, and high customer satisfaction. The Business Development Manager will also track sales performance, prepare regular reports, contribute to strategic planning, and represent CMK Electro Power at industry events and customer meetings.
Qualifications
  • Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation abilities.
  • Solid understanding of industrial products, preferably in crane control equipment, components, or related electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and develop growth strategies for assigned territories or segments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in basic office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations, CRM or sales tracking software).
  • Proven track record in B2B or industrial sales; experience working with OEMs and large manufacturing clients is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
