We're searching for a spirited and resourceful Business Development Manager ("BDM"), Medical Devices to join our US-based team!


Please Note ---> this role is remote and field-based, but the successful candidate will reside within an approximate 50-mile radius of the Twin Cities, Chicagoland, or Research Triangle. The job is posted in these three (3) metropolitan areas.


Summary


The Business Development Manager (“BDM”), Medical Devices is responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy designed to expand the Fedegari Group’s presence in the medical device industry. This role will focus on building strategic customer relationships and accelerating market adoption of Fedegari sterilization technologies, particularly vaporized hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) and low temperature sterilization, as safe, effective, and sustainable alternatives to ethylene oxide (EtO). The BDM will partner closely with commercial leadership and technical experts to position Fedegari as a leading solution for medical device manufacturers facing regulatory, operational, and environmental pressures related to sterilization and aseptic processing.

  • Lead business development initiatives to expand Fedegari’s presence within the medical device manufacturing sector across the Americas region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, technical stakeholders, and decision-makers within medical device companies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize target accounts, strategic partners, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Develop and execute market penetration activities for Fedegari sterilization solutions, particularly H₂O₂ and low temperature sterilization technologies, positioning the Company as a strategic partner for device manufacturers seeking alternatives to ethylene oxide sterilization (EtO).
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across the broader Fedegari sterilization product portfolio.
  • When necessary, partner with industrial sales (biopharma), technical/engineering, and cycle/process development teams to develop tailored solutions and proposals aligned with customer manufacturing and regulatory requirements.
  • Forecast sales activities for the Americas medical device business --- continuously updating the CRM (Salesforce) and/or other internal dashboards, as necessary.
  • Aligned with the Americas Commercial Director, serve as the primary liaison between the Americas region and global Fedegari Group stakeholders related to the medical device segment.
  • Conduct ongoing medical device market research and competitive analysis to have in depth knowledge of markets, customers, and products.
  • Represent Fedegari at industry conferences, technical forums, and customer engagements to promote brand visibility and thought leadership --- be a knowledge partner.
  • Represent Fedegari Technologies and Fedegari Group in a professional and ethical manner.


Required Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably science or engineering related.
  • 5+ years of professional business development experience, specifically creating strategic partnerships for sales and sustainable growth.
  • 3+ years of proven experience in complex, consultative technical sales within the medical device or medical equipment manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with sterilization technologies, aseptic processing, and/or regulated manufacturing environments (cGMP/FDA).
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a global, matrixed organization.
  • Ability to overcome opposition, identify problems, and resolve concerns.
  • Courteous, supportive, and respectful in all interactions.
  • Possess genuine willingness to learn and be coachable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional and poised presentation with strong commercial acumen.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.

Preferred Education and Experience


  • Direct working experience with Salesforce CRM.
  • MBA or similar business education.
