Job Title: Business Development Manager – Freight Forwarding (Imports)


Location:

Mahipalpur, New Delhi (Near Aerocity Metro)


Work Timings:

10:00 AM – 6:00 PM


Working Days:

Monday to Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturday Half Day)


Salary:

₹75,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month + performance-based incentives + 1 month bonus (after 1 year)


Role Overview:

We are looking for a result-oriented Business Development Manager with strong experience in International Freight Forwarding (Imports). The role involves independently driving business growth across the Delhi/NCR region through client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue generation.


This is a field-driven role requiring a proactive approach, strong industry network, and the ability to close deals consistently.


Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and acquire new clients including Importers, Exporters, CHAs, and trade partners

- Generate business in International Freight Forwarding with a focus on Imports

- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business

- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

- Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and pricing with clients

- Coordinate with operations and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments

- Monitor client activity and maintain regular follow-ups

- Handle payment collection and ensure timely receivables

- Stay updated with market trends, pricing, and competitor activities


Eligibility Criteria:

- Minimum 6+ years of experience in International Freight Forwarding Sales

- Strong presence and network within Delhi/NCR market

- Proven track record of generating revenue and closing deals

- Self-driven, target-oriented, and consistent in performance


Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of International Freight Forwarding (Imports preferred)

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Ability to handle end-to-end sales cycle independently

- Basic computer skills including email drafting, reporting, and quotations


Preferred Profile:

- Candidates with an existing active client base in freight forwarding

- Experience in handling import-focused business will be an advantage


Additional Information:

- This is a field sales role involving regular client meetings and travel

- Candidate must have their own vehicle (Bike/Car)

- Parking facility available at office

- No PF / ESI benefits provided
