Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager, based in Delhi/NCR, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Business Development Manager drives agency growth by hunting, qualifying, and closing new B2B client accounts. This role focuses on selling custom market research, syndication services, and data insights to corporate decision-makers.


Key Responsibilities

  • New Client Hunting: Prospect, cold-outreach, and network aggressively to build a high-volume sales pipeline from scratch.
  • Research Pitches: Consult with stakeholders to understand their data gaps and present tailored market research capabilities.
  • Proposal & Pricing: Scope research projects and design custom proposals and commercial pricing models.
  • Deal Closure: Lead commercial negotiations to secure new logos and hit monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
  • Market Tracking: Monitor industry trends to identify high-growth sectors needing research services.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of hunting/new-logo sales experience specifically within Market Research or Consulting firm.
  • Sales DNA: Proven track record of cold prospecting, managing short-to-medium sales cycles, and closing deals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of qualitative/quantitative market research methodologies.
  • Skills: Exceptional presentation, objection handling, negotiation, and CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot) skills.
