As we expand our capabilities into the government and defense sectors, we are looking for experienced professionals who understand the public procurement ecosystem and can help drive strategic growth in the B2G segment.
We are seeking a Business Development Manager – B2G (Defense) to lead growth in the government and defense sector.
The role will focus on developing relationships with defense organizations, identifying procurement opportunities, managing tender processes, and building strategic partnerships within the defense ecosystem.
The candidate will play a key role in expanding IZI's presence across armed forces, paramilitary organizations, and government agencies.
• Identify opportunities across defense, paramilitary forces, police, and other government agencies.
• Develop relationships with procurement authorities and key stakeholders.
• Build and execute the B2G sales strategy for the defense segment.
• Track government tenders, RFPs, and procurement opportunities across platforms such as GeM and CPPP.
• Prepare and manage tender submissions and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with government procurement procedures and eligibility requirements.
• Build relationships with system integrators, defense contractors, and technology partners.
• Expand the partner and channel network within the defense ecosystem.
• Support collaborations with integrators, OEMs, and solution providers.
• Conduct product presentations and capability demonstrations for government agencies.
• Coordinate field trials and operational demonstrations with defense units.
• Understand operational requirements and propose suitable solutions.
• Track defense procurement trends, programs, and competitor activity.
• Identify new opportunities across the B2G segment.
• Maintain and manage the B2G opportunity pipeline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• MBA or defense-related experience preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in B2G sales, defense business development, or government procurement.
• Strong understanding of defense procurement processes and tendering systems.
• Experience working with government tenders, RFPs, or procurement platforms.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with government stakeholders.
• Ability to develop go-to-market strategies and capture opportunities in the defense sector.
