Job Description

Role Overview


The Head/Lead - Business Growth & Expansion will be responsible for driving Leap Gymnastics Academy’s national expansion and growth, including centre rollout, revenue growth, systems enablement, partnerships, cost optimisation, and data-led decision-making.


Reporting into the CEO, this is an execution-heavy leadership role requiring strong ownership, commercial acumen, and the ability to build a scalable, repeatable operating model for rapid growth across India.

Key Responsibilities


Expansion & Strategic Growth

  • Lead pan-India expansion strategy including market prioritisation, city sequencing, and rollout planning with the CEO.
  • Identify high-potential cities, micro-markets, and catchments using demand, demographics, and commercial viability.
  • Source, evaluate, and close real estate for new centres; lead lease and commercial negotiations.
  • Own end-to-end centre setup—from design and interiors to timelines, budgets, and launch readiness.
  • Build standardised SOPs and playbooks to enable faster, consistent rollouts.

Revenue, Unit Economics & Performance

  • Drive revenue growth and profitability through programme mix, pricing, utilisation, retention, and ancillary offerings.
  • Strengthen centre-level unit economics and long-term business sustainability.
  • Track centre performance and lead targeted improvement plans with operations teams.

Customer Experience & Digital Enablement

  • Enhance parent and customer experience through improved processes, tools, and technology.
  • Optimise CRM, ERP, billing, attendance, and communication platforms for scale, adoption, and usability.
  • Ensure systems align with operational workflows and future growth.

New Revenue, Partnerships & Cost Efficiency

  • Launch new revenue streams including school partnerships, corporate programmes, events, merchandise, and coach education.
  • Build and manage strategic vendor and supplier partnerships.
  • Negotiate contracts to improve cost efficiency while maintaining quality and brand standards.


Procurement, Assets & Infrastructure

  • Oversee procurement and vendor performance across centres.
  • Ensure timely upkeep, upgrades, and replacements of infrastructure and equipment to meet safety and brand standards.

Data & Business Intelligence

  • Own dashboards tracking enrolments, utilisation, retention, revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Translate insights into clear actions to improve centre and business performance.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 8–12+ years of experience in growth, expansion, business development, or operations
  • Proven experience scaling multi-location, asset-heavy businesses (sports, education, fitness, retail, or consumer services preferred)
