Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Business Development person for our sales initiatives in manufacturing. The candidate is responsible for identifying, managing and securing business opportunities by identifying potential clients from our industry, including maintaining strong business relationships with existing clients. The role will use their technical and customer knowledge to influence customers to use the company’s services resulting in revenue generation. Domestic travel will be required.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead generation that results in face time with clients
- Arrange and conduct business meetings, and engage in technical discussions if required
- Promote the company’s offerings and drive revenue by utilizing persuasive techniques
- Prepare Quotations and follow-up of quotes with the customer.
- Follow up order execution and manage Contract and program management
- Grow existing customers by ensuring excellence in service and on-time responses.
- Maintain a professional yet personalized relationship with Customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to resolve customer complaints
- Support accounts receivable for payment realization
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred or equivalent education and work experience
- 3-5 years in industrial marketing, business development or account management required
- Knowledge of the industry is desirable. Background from manufacturing preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills a must
- Persistence and follow through on all opportunities would be an important discriminator
