Job Description

Role Summary:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating revenue for Artha Energy Resources LLP by sourcing qualified leads and converting them into successful contracts within the Solar Rooftop (C&I) segment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Source accurate contact details of decision-makers (Purchase, Sustainability, Maintenance, and C-level executives) from industries such as FMCG, Automobile, Industrial Products, Polymers, Agriculture, Pharma, Warehousing, and Data Centers.
  • Use online sources (Lusha, LinkedIn,, Google), offline networks, company database, and CRM .
  • Maintain and update internal databases in the prescribed format.
  • Cold-call and follow up with prospective customers to collect data for savings sheet preparation.
  • Conduct structured research on target clients, prepare ROI analysis, and create budgetary proposals.
  • Lead client meetings to:
  • Understand electricity consumption patterns and capex willingness.
  • Position Artha Energy Resources as the preferred partner.
  • Generate requirements for industrial-scale solar projects.
  • Prepare customized presentations aligned to client requirements.
  • Coordinate with operations to deliver techno-commercial proposals.
  • Negotiate and close deals on a win-win basis.
  • Ensure profitability index is maintained as per management guidelines.
  • Draft professional emails to document discussions with clients.
  • Act as a bridge between client and internal operations team from contract signing to project completion.
  • Number of client meetings per week and month.
  • Number of leads converted per month.
  • Monthly revenue generated.


Qualification:

  • Graduate in Engineering/Commerce/Management; MBA preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Business Development / Sales (preferably in Solar, Renewable Energy, or C&I sectors).
  • Strong research, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools (preferably Pipedrive), and online lead-generation platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with revenue accountability.
