Salary and incentives

  • Compensation: Up to ₹40,000/month
  • Pay Mix: 40% Fixed + 60% Variable
  • Exact compensation (uncapped) structure will depend on the candidate’s experience, fit, and performance potential
  • Variable pay will be calculated on payment collected from the client


Role Review

Daphnis Labs is looking for a highly driven Business Development Executive (Inside Sales) to help grow our client base across AI solutions, Shopify development, web/app development, and custom software services.

This is a performance-oriented role for someone who is proactive, confident in communication, and eager to build a long-term career in B2B sales. You will be responsible for generating leads, starting conversations, qualifying prospects, handling follow-ups, and closing smaller deals while building a strong sales pipeline for the company.

You will work with prospects across India and USA markets, so flexibility in communication style and working hours is important based on client geography.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and other outbound methods
  • Identify, research, and qualify potential clients in India and USA
  • Understand prospect needs and pitch relevant Daphnis Labs services, including:
  • AI development
  • Shopify development
  • Web development
  • App development
  • Custom software solutions
  • Run initial sales conversations and discovery calls with prospects
  • Follow up consistently with interested leads and move them through the pipeline
  • Close smaller and faster-moving deals independently
  • Coordinate with internal teams for proposals, scope discussions, and solution understanding where required
  • Maintain complete lead and deal records in SuiteCRM
  • Track conversations, follow-ups, deal stages, and sales progress in an organized manner
  • Work on revenue targets and contribute directly to business growth
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through regular prospecting activity
  • Adapt to flexible time zones based on client geography and meeting requirements


Core Skills and Requirements

  • 0–1 year of experience in sales, inside sales, business development, or lead generation
  • Freshers with strong intent, confidence, and learning ability are welcome to apply
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Comfortable speaking with prospects over calls, email, and LinkedIn

What success look like

In the First 3 days

  • Complete onboarding and understand Daphnis Labs’ service offerings
  • Learn the basics of our sales process, outreach style, and target client profiles
  • Get familiar with SuiteCRM, lead stages, and reporting expectations
  • Start initial outreach with support and guidance from the team


In the First 7 Days

  • Independently begin prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn
  • Start generating responses, qualifying leads, and booking meaningful conversations
  • Build consistency in follow-ups and CRM updates
  • Demonstrate confidence in pitching our core services


In the First 14 Days

  • Start handling smaller opportunities more independently
  • Contribute to early-stage closures on smaller deals
  • Maintain an active and trackable pipeline in SuiteCRM
  • Show measurable progress in outreach activity, conversations, and deal movement
