About the Role

We are hiring a high-agency Business Development Associate to drive seller and buyer onboarding for an M&A marketplace platform.

This is an outbound-heavy role focused on building relationships. You’ll be the first point of contact for founders and buyers, helping grow both sides of the marketplace through thoughtful, well-timed conversations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Reach out to potential sellers and buyers via calls, email, and LinkedIn
  • Build and manage a strong lead pipeline
  • Onboard sellers by understanding their intent and guiding them through the platform
  • Maintain relationships through structured follow-ups
  • Share market insights, objections, and feedback to improve conversion
  • Work with internal teams on outreach and messaging


What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years in business development, sales, or similar roles
  • Strong communication and comfort with cold outreach
  • Ability to build rapport and handle nuanced conversations
  • Good judgment, empathy, and listening skills
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts or interest in M&A
  • Ownership mindset and willingness to learn


Nice to Have

  • Exposure to M&A, consulting, or financial services
  • Outbound-heavy experience
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot)
