Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Associate Intern to work on market expansion, client acquisition, and revenue operations across international markets. This role sits at the boundary of strategy and execution — you will support real BD cycles from lead generation through to client onboarding. The ideal candidate communicates with clarity, thinks commercially, and is ready to own tasks rather than just assist.
What does day-to-day look like?
- Research target markets and map competitive landscapes using TAM/SAM/SOM and PESTLE frameworks
- Support go-to-market planning for new geographies and service verticals
- Identify and qualify leads through outreach, research, and referral networks
- Support the full sales cycle from first contact through to deal closure
- Coordinate client onboarding — documentation, briefings, and handoffs
- Communicate with international clients professionally across time zones
- Log and maintain accurate CRM records (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
- Prepare weekly pipeline dashboards and performance snapshots for the BD team
- Assist in revenue cycle management — tracking deals, renewals, and revenue milestones
Requirements
- Final-year student or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal English — essential, not optional
- Basic familiarity with CRM tools, or a strong willingness to learn quickly
- Comfortable working with international clients and across time zones
- Prior internship or project experience in sales or BD is a plus, not a must
- Basic understanding of statistics and business mathematics

Offer Details
- Stipend: Paid · Competitive, as per industry standards
- PPO: High performers will be extended a full-time offer — ₹3–6 LPA based on performance and business impact
- Duration: 3–6 months
- Engagement Type: Internship with Pre-Placement Offer (PPO)
- Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha — on-site
