Business Development Associate - Battery Scrap

BATTERY WASTE & SCRAP DIVISION

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Recyclify (Ecowaste Management Technologies Pvt Ltd) is a fast-growing battery waste management and EPR compliance company based in Gurgaon. We work with battery manufacturers, EV fleet operators, solar developers and telecom companies to collect, process and recycle end-of-life batteries across India. We are CPCB-registered and help our clients fulfil their EPR obligations under the Battery Waste Management Rules (BWMR) 2022.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate leads through field visits across battery dealers, scrap markets, EV workshops and industrial areas.
• Conduct cold calls and field visits to onboard new sourcing partners.
• Negotiate purchase rates and close sourcing deals.
• Coordinate closely with operations for smooth deal closure and movement.
• Maintain buyer data, pricing trackers and reports.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 1-2 years of experience in Business Development, procurement, sourcing, vendor management or operations.
• Comfortable with pricing, negotiations and follow-ups.
• Comfortable working in a field sales environment.
• Basic knowledge of batteries or the EV ecosystem is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets; CRM exposure is a plus.
