We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development and Marketing Head – India/International to join our team at K&A Power Group in Delhi, India. The Business Development and Marketing Head will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth, expanding market presence, strengthening strategic client relationships, and securing new business opportunities across international markets.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development and Marketing Head – India/International to join our team at K&A Power Group in Delhi, India. The Business Development and Marketing Head will be responsible for driving sustainable business growth, expanding market presence, strengthening strategic client relationships, and securing new business opportunities across international markets.
Role Expectations
- Business Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop and execute India and international business development strategy aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across power, energy, utilities, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
- Establish and expand the company's presence in existing and emerging markets.
- Develop strategic market entry plans and growth initiatives.
- Create and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary relationship owner for strategic clients.
- Understand client business challenges and develop customized solutions.
- Conduct regular client engagement meetings and executive reviews.
- Ensure timely resolution of client concerns and escalations.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with client leadership teams.
- Bid Management & Proposal Leadership
- Lead strategic pursuits, bids, proposals, and tender submissions.
- Coordinate with technical, commercial, legal, and delivery teams for bid preparation.
- Develop winning strategies for major pursuits.
- Monitor sales pipeline, forecasts, and business performance metrics.
- Ensure commercial viability and profitability of opportunities pursued.
- Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Identify and establish partnerships, joint ventures, consortiums, and strategic alliances.
- Develop relationships with industry associations, government agencies, and key stakeholders.
- Evaluate partnership opportunities that support business growth objectives.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
- Develop market intelligence reports and growth recommendations.
- Identify emerging technologies and service opportunities within the power and energy sector
- Brand Positioning & Industry Representation
- Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, exhibitions, and client events.
- Promote thought leadership and strengthen market visibility.
- Enhance brand recognition within target markets and sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
- MBA or Postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Professional certifications in Business Development, Sales, or Strategic Management will be advantageous.
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Strategic Growth roles.
- Proven experience within Power, Utilities, Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy, Energy Infrastructure, EPC, Engineering Consultancy, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success in securing large-scale projects and strategic accounts.
- Strong experience in international business development and client relationship management.
- Experience leading complex commercial negotiations and strategic pursuits
