The Business Consultant will work as Product owner/ Business Systems Analyst for agile team working on development of Treasury & Risk Management Products. The Business Consultant will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure systems and processes meet organizational objectives. This role involves analyzing business needs, defining system requirements, and supporting implementation through testing and training.

The business consultant should have a good understanding of enterprise Treasury Management Systems (TMS) used by large corporations to manage cash, liquidity, risk, debt, investments, hedging, and compliance etc. Having Product Owner or Business Analyst/BSA experience on any of the vendor products in enterprise Treasury Management e.g. Kyriba, Murex, Calypso, ION, Gtreasury, SAP Treasury & Risk Management etc. is required.

Experience in AWS is a huge plus.

As a Business Consultant, you will be instrumental in shaping client success by partnering with stakeholders and internal teams to deliver forward-thinking solutions that address business objectives and transform the way financial transactions are managed globally.

  • Define product scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Generate the highest level of system requirements, based on the users' needs and other constraints.
  • Define specifications and data models for product development and testing.
  • Create and execute test plans and cases to validate system changes; conduct system, integration, and acceptance testing.
  • Ensure application integrity and compliance through rigorous testing and documentation.
  • Provide training to internal teams or external clients on new systems, processes, or updates.

3-10 years of experience in consulting, with a focus on BA/BSA/PO role.

  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal, team, negotiation, conflict management and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language (UML), use cases, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems development life cycles, i.e., waterfall, iterative and other modern approaches to software development and conversion methodologies
  • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization
  • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources
  • Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach to take
  • Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas
