Job Title: Business Analyst

Experience: 0 – 1 Years

Department / Function: Executive Strategy & Analytics

Location: Ahmedabad

Employment Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse strategic opportunities shared by the MD and deliver data-backed insights.
  • Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and industry trend analysis.
  • Build effective financial and business models to support feasibility assessments.
  • Prepare high-quality dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and refine insights.
  • Identify key drivers, risks, and potential outcomes of strategic initiatives.
  • Apply structured, analytical thinking to solve complex business problems.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from IIT, IIM, ISB, or other leading institutions.
  • 0–1 year of experience in business analysis, strategy, consulting, or related areas (internships/projects accepted).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Exposure to Power BI/Tableau or SQL is an added advantage.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • High ownership, curiosity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must-have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from IIT, IIM, ISB, or other top-tier institutions
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (modelling, analysis, data interpretation)
  • Ability to convert data into clear, actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong logical reasoning and structured problem-solving ability
  • High ownership, accountability, and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred:

  • Internships or academic projects in strategy, consulting, analytics, or research
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
  • Experience building simple financial or business models
  • Exposure to market research or competitor analysis
  • Understanding of business metrics and basic financial concepts
