Job Description

Experience in energy, utilities, transmission & distribution, or grid integration domain.

We are seeking a highly analytical and domain-knowledgeable Senior Business Analyst to support strategic initiatives within the Grid Integration Business Unit. The role spans the complete project lifecycle including Feasibility, Concept & Design, Development, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Deployment.

The Business Analyst will act as the bridge between business stakeholders (engineering, operations, utilities, grid operators) and technical delivery teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into clear, testable, and value-driven solution requirements.

The role requires strong experience in energy, utilities, or power systems environments, along with exposure to large-scale integration and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions
• Analyse current-state (“as-is”) processes and systems across grid operations
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
• Support preparation of business cases, cost-benefit analysis, and ROI assessments
• Assist in solution feasibility analysis from process and operational perspectives
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements
• Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Process flow diagrams (BPMN), Use cases and user stories
• Define acceptance criteria aligned with business objectives.
• Define UAT strategy and business test scenarios, facilitate UAT workshops and validate that solution meets business acceptance criteria
• Support go-live activities and hypercare phase
  
  

Experience

7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst

• Experience in energy, utilities, transmission & distribution, or grid integration domain
• Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
• Experience across full SDLC lifecycle
• Proven experience in large system integration or digital transformation programs
• Experience in IT/OT environments preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
