Position: BMS Engineer

Education: Diploma/BE in Electrical/ ENTC

Experience: Min 4 Yrs in Data centre for similar role

Location: Pune Hinjewadi

Duty: Rotational Shift

Job Responsibility

• Must be experience with strong experience in IBMS field, overall BMS system, BMS architecture

- Working knowledge of various IBMS platforms like Siemens, Schneider, EBI

- Working knowledge of Access control, safety and security systems

- Knowledge of IT Network

- Managing IBMS

- To monitor the Integrated building management system (IBMS) for alarms.

- Responsible for proactively identifying improvements to the system in order to reduce BMS-related system failures, and to improve the efficiency of the building.

- Checks routinely for correct operation of all equipment in location that include BMS control of systems.

- Adjust variables and provide adjustment as required to ensure systems are operating correctly within parameters

- Incident Management cum Tracking

- To carry out a remote fix to resolve an alarm, or where not possible, raise a work order/Incident Ticket for a contractor/partner to investigate and fix the fault.

- Then follow up to ensure the incident is satisfactorily closed out and the issue resolved.

- Follow up for Root Cause Analysis to ensure satisfactory closure.

- Reduction of system alarms, lockouts, overrides, disables, off-lines, by accurate calibration and adjustment of field sensors, switches etc.

- Provide technical advice and input on BMS development opportunities.

- Prepare detailed reports, technical communications and dashboards on work carried out

- Implement energy saving initiatives by additional monitoring or modification of control systems.

- RCA Management

- Preparation of internal Root Cause Analysis to ensure satisfactory closure.

- Knowledge of Quality/ISO Tools Applications

- Mandatory to promptly report all accidents, injuries and unsafe working conditions or practices.

- Maintain standards of safety and comply with Company’s Health, Safety & Environment

- Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.

- Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.

- Monthly MIS -Daily/Weekly/Monthly generation of Reports, Trends, abnormalities in the system and analysis of these documents.
