BMC Remedy L2 Support Engineer

Experience: 3+ Years

Location: Gurgaon (Mandatory)

CTC: 12–14 LPA

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Role Overview

We are looking for a BMC Remedy L2 Support Engineer with strong hands-on experience in BMC Remedy/Helix ITSM administration, configuration, and operational support. The ideal candidate can independently manage day-to-day Remedy operations, troubleshoot complex application issues, and coordinate across L3 teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform L2 operational support activities for the BMC Remedy application on a day-to-day basis
  • Execute configuration, administration, and customization activities within Remedy ITSM modules
  • Troubleshoot application issues and perform detailed log analysis to identify root causes
  • Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) for new integrations and enhancements
  • Understand business requirements and implement advanced configurations to meet operational needs
  • Create and maintain Knowledge Base articles and Standard Operating Procedures for routine activities
  • Provide 24x7 operational support including on-call and weekend availability as required
  • Coordinate with the product vendor for resolution of product-related issues
  • Coordinate with L3 support teams and business users for incident, problem, and change management activities

Required Skills And Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Technical Operations and L2 Support for BMC Remedy ITSM Suite
  • Hands-on experience with Remedy configuration, administration, web services, and REST API integrations
  • Strong understanding of ITIL concepts with practical experience on BMC Remedy/Helix ITSM version 20.x or later
  • Solid knowledge of AR System Administration, ITSM fundamentals, and Remedy core modules
  • Experience with configuration and customization of Remedy ITSM modules
  • Experience integrating fault management tools with Remedy
  • Ability to quickly understand existing schemas, custom workflows, and application architecture
  • Hands-on experience in Remedy application-level and server-level troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of Linux/UNIX commands
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of Helix Dashboards
  • Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) infrastructure
  • Exposure to Netcool
  • Exposure to Oracle databases

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
