Job Description

Position Title - Senior BIM Modeler (Mechanical / Electrical)

Location - Chennai / Trichy, India

Experience: 2+Years

Key Responsibilities: (Mechanical Modelers)

Set up Revit MEP projects using established project templates.
Create precise mechanical models in Revit, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project BIM Execution Plan.
Interpret design drawings based on written and verbal instructions from design engineers.
Work with both customer-provided and in-house drawings.
Generate plan sections, detailed drawings, spool sheets, bill of materials, hanger lists, Total Station files, and more.
Manage files effectively, including posting models, downloading updates, handling links, and maintaining version history.
Collaborate with other trades, attend coordination meetings, and produce necessary reports.
Assist in identifying and resolving clashes in coordination models.
Develop detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings.
Offer technical support for ongoing projects and field services.
Coordinate and prepare as-built models and drawings for record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities: (Electrical Modelers)

Capable to prepare LOD 400 and LOD 500 stage of work.
Must have knowledge of Revit modelling for all Electrical & and ELV services i.e., Lighting, Power, Fire Alarm, Security, ICT etc. and family creation.
Integrate electrical design information into the BIM model, ensuring proper routing of electrical conduits, cable trays and equipment.
Preparation of Dilux and DB load calculations.- (Value added).
Specialist in the preparation of Electrical, LV and Generator room drawings by utilizing design concepts.
Capable of preparing and raising RFIs (Request for information)
Manage and organize project-related data, fields and documentation within the BIM environment.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding of BIM templates and processes.
Stay updated on advancements in BIM technology and methodologies.

Qualification:

B.E – Electrical and mechanical / Diploma in Electrical and mechanical
