Our DGI Study Trips (DST) division specialises in educational group travel, working in partnership with Colleges, Universities and other education providers, to tailor bespoke study experiences and travel itineraries to inspire students outside of the classroom.

We are on the hunt for a Billing and Cash Manager to join our Finance Team. This role will be responsible for the ownership of client billing and client payments through our in-house travel system ensuring invoices are accurate and processed on time, and cash is allocated in a timely manner. Key tasks will include: -
- Driving the performance of a small cash team of 3 people, including goal setting, performance measurement, appraisals and training
- Responsibility for managing cash across multiple ledgers and entities in multiple currencies, ensuring full maintenance of customer accounts
- Responsibility for the collection of direct debits/ACH collections
- Responsibility for consolidated billings ensuring the accuracy of all consolidated invoices
- Sharing the management of the Credit Control Helpdesk, responding to internal and external queries with high standard of customer service
- Monitoring unreconciled receipts report to ensure all money is received and allocated
- Monitoring the Diversity accounts in the ledger to ensure they are cleared down

- Salary between £40k - £45k per annum plus performance based annual bonus

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Substantial Accounts Receivable management experience
- Experience in a similar Accounts Receivable / Billing leadership role
- Strong level of MS Excel skills
- Working accurately to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- The drive to make improvements and resolve issues
- Ability to deliver a high level of customer service both internally and externally
The role of Billing and Cash Manager is based in our central Manchester office, with the option to work 2 days per week at home. Our working hours are 8.45am - 5.30pm, Monday – Friday. If you are interested in the role and meet the criteria outlined above, then please get in touch.
