Job Description

Job Summary

The Behavioral Health Recruiter researches, develops, and implements effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates. This role manages all phases of the recruitment process, including job postings, prescreening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding. The Recruiter collaborates with hiring managers to create accurate job descriptions, ensures compliance with employment laws and company policies, and maintains HRIS data integrity. Additional responsibilities include attending job fairs, promoting career opportunities, and supporting organizational hiring goals through strategic recruitment initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in an office environment; recruitment and compliance experience preferred.
  • Experience with ADP HRIS system strongly preferred.
  • Strong interviewing, organizational, and technical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Strategy & Administration

  • Develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with department managers to draft accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Coordinate job requisitions, prescreening, interviews, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Administer pre-employment screenings and background checks.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure all new employee records are complete and compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and timely electronic filing.
  • Comply with HR filing requirements and record retention standards.

Quality Assurance & Reporting

  • Maintain daily HRIS data input and monitor system accuracy.
  • Prepare and update weekly recruitment reports.
  • Implement procedures impacting recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.

Collaboration & Outreach

  • Act as main recruitment contact for assigned areas; collaborate with hiring managers and HR team members.
  • Attend job fairs, speaking engagements, and HR events to promote career opportunities.
  • Respond to job inquiries and application status questions promptly.

  • Pay starting at $21/hr depending on experience
