Role Description The Bar Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Chandigarh, Mohali district, Zirakpur & responsible for overseeing daily bar operations and ensuring an excellent guest experience. This role includes managing bar staff schedules, supervising service standards, and providing hands-on leadership during opening, peak hours, and closing. The Bar Manager will oversee inventory, ordering, and stock rotation for beverages and bar supplies, while maintaining hygiene, safety, and compliance with local regulations. Day-to-day tasks also include training team members, monitoring sales performance, implementing promotions, handling guest feedback, and coordinating with the kitchen and management to support smooth front-of-house operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and conflict resolution.
  • Experience in food & beverage operations, including bar service, menu knowledge, and hygiene standards.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with staff, management, and guests.
  • Ability to train and mentor team members, including onboarding, skills development, and performance feedback.
  • Sales-oriented mindset, with experience in upselling, promotions, and meeting revenue targets.
  • Previous experience in bar or restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in inventory and cash handling.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and bar-related software; ability to learn new tools as required.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Relevant hospitality or management certification or diploma is an advantage.
