About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Python Developer with 3+ years of experience to build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with product, frontend, and data teams to develop high-performance applications that handle large volumes of traffic and data.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python
Build and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
Work with databases to design efficient schemas and write optimized queries
Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
Integrate third-party services, tools, and APIs
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and DevOps

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of backend development experience using Python
Strong hands-on experience with frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Experience in building and consuming REST APIs
Good understanding of database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB)
Familiarity with ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Django ORM
Understanding of asynchronous programming and background task queues (Celery, Redis, etc.)
Experience with Git and version control workflows
Knowledge of API security, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and best practices
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
