Backend Engineer in Mumbai (Hybrid)

We are looking for a hands-on Software Engineer / Platform Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality, scalable, and robust software platforms. In this role, you will be involved across the full software development lifecycle—from requirement analysis and system design to development, documentation, and continuous improvement. If you enjoy solving complex problems and building reliable systems, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate operational feasibility by analyzing requirements, problem definitions, and proposed technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions following the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Prepare and deploy solutions by defining system specifications, standards, and programming approaches.
• Document solutions using technical documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, and architecture layouts.
• Perform system analysis and recommend improvements to processes, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal users and stakeholders to understand system flows, data usage, and business requirements.
• Identify problem areas, investigate root causes, and implement effective technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and uphold high standards of software quality.
• Stay updated with modern development tools, programming techniques, and best practices.
• Participate in learning initiatives, technical discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Ensure data security and confidentiality across systems.
